Boudoir — Captured by Robin

It’s time to focus on YOU.

boudoir…

What most people don’t know is this term is of French descent and meant a woman’s sitting room or salon within their private residence, or their private bedroom.

But nowadays, women only know this term in the states to refer to racy photography sessions - sometimes still in a very taboo tone.

but really…

Boudoir images are for YOU to celebrate who you are, embrace where you are in life, and enjoy the skin you're in. No matter your life stage or relationship status, no matter your pre or post kids body, no matter how far you feel you have to go; boudoir is for you.

There is no right or wrong when I photograph someone. We plan and do whatever is most comfortable and I can assure you - I am very honest and will tell you what is working and what we need to adjust to get the result you ultimately hope for.

Ready to book?

All of my Boudoir sessions are booking through a 1:1 communication due to the intimate nature of the sessions. I do not send potential boudoir clients to my booking site without a plan. First, you will pull the plug and connect with me directly about your interest. Be sure to include any hesitations or ideas that you have for this upcoming session.

Ideally boudoir sessions are booked 30-60 days in advance, at minimum. Ideally, I prefer to book these sessions on Sunday’s. This allows for you, the client, to prepare and schedule all necessary personal care in advance. If needed immediately (within 30 days), no worries, I will communicate my availability and we will hopefully find a date/time that works for both of us and the preferred studio space. Be advised - with less than a 30-60 day window, you may need to consider weekday availability.

Once I have received your message, I will coordinate with you - typically by text message - we will discuss which studio you would like to be photographed in. Once you have selected a location, we will discuss and agree on a date and time that works for both of us based on the studios availability. Finally, you will receive your official booking invitation. Once you have completed that in full, your session and studio rental are finalized and we are ready to enter the timeline planning phase!

Your responsibilities once completing the booking steps are to maintain communication with me (the photographer), plan your wardrobe and prepare all pieces appropriately, book your hair & make-up appointments in a timely manner (you will want to be completely ready at least 30 minutes before your travel time to the studio).
